Sometimes you may end up with a perfect wig but also want to freshen up your look by changing your wig into a different parting. The following are three detailed methods to help you change your hair parting.
Method 1. Change parting without wetting your hair
Firstly, you need to brush the hair down to detangle the hair and comb the middle part into the side part, then use a flat iron to train hair in the direction you want the hair to lay.
Use the blow dryer to style hair into shape and make the hair lay flat in the new direction, but this step is optional if you don’t have time to do that much work you can also skip this step.
Use the flat iron to press the root of the part area over and over again till it is in a natural look.
Method 2. Change Parting With Wand Curlers + Mousse & Water
Wet your hair first with mousse or water which can make the hair easy to be parted in a new direction. Then part hair with the end of the rat tail comb and pin the hair with clips in the new direction you want.
Run the wand along the part to make hair lay flat.
Spray water to wet hair around the parting space, then apply mousse to set hair.
Method 3. Change parting with flat iron + mousse
Straighten hair piece by piece, since it can promise hair lay flat perfectly. Avoid straighten hair too much at once or it will make the parting space look unnatural.
Add mousse on the top of the parting area after straightening it and repeat these two steps till you finish to change the parting. Then comb all hair in the direction you styled.
